Religions and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

ICYCW participated in the International Conference on the theme “Religions and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

Listening to the cry of the earth and of the poor”, Promoted by the Department for the Integral Human Development Service and by the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, which was held  in the Vatican, at the New Synod Hall, from Thursday 7 to Saturday 9 March 2019.

The conference intended to enhance the contribution that religions can make to an implementation of the Sustainable development Goals, around five keywords that will guide the reflections: people-planet-prosperity-partnership-peace.
It was an opportunity to promote a dialogue between experts from different religions international institutions to assess the actual situation with respect to the implementation of the SDGs.
